I just finished watching the game on tape. I was encouraged by what I saw.
1) We moved the chains with the first team offense and ate clock. TDs would have been nice. The offense is always behind the defense at this point though.
2) Scott Player hit some booming punts and dropped one around the 5 yard line.
3) Blake went to Freddie Jones. It is important we get him involved in the offense.
4) Blake had an eternity to throw.
5) Smith still has some moves.
6) We have a defense. We made alot of defensive plays on the other side of the line. Granted it was a bad Cowboys o-line, but we did dominate them with 1st,2nd and 3rd teams.
7) We looked MUCH faster on defense.
8) Wilson can be an intimidator.
9) Fisher looks good.
10) The return game looked good, and we did not even get a chance to see Johnson.
My biggest concern would be Grammaticas inconsistent kick-offs. Alot of people expressed concern about the offense. I think it will be improved by the start of the season.
