I've heard he looks very similar to Mustafa Shakur coming out of HS in that he's extremely athletic and fast but tends to be mistake-prone with an inconsistent J. There's other PG prospects I'd like to see Arizona land but I can understand how Lute cannot say no to a Top 10 guy. Regardless, I need to TIVO an Oak Hill game to see if the hype is legit or not.
I also don't think Bayless will be a one-and-done, more likely two and out. Don't think his parents and advisors have not noticed how poorly most one year PG's adapt to the NBA.
Apparently UCLA has already said they're again not interested, honestly I wish they were I've seen him play and he's very good. When Oak Hill played against Simeon on ESPN, Jennings went 3 quarters dishing the ball, defending Derrick Rose, and not shooting. He then had like 15 in the 4th quarter. apparently he'd taken some criticism for shooting too much so ala Gilbert Arenas he decided to not shoot to make a point.
But really that's the worst I've heard on him, he's very athletic, an excellent passer, he's a better shooter than Derrick Rose(much better shooter than Jerime Anderson the PG UCLA took instead of BJ). He's a bit flashy but I really don't get why howland doesn't want him. Greg Hicks of BRO says Howland has said he's a "bad fit" and everyone assumes that means bad grades or lazy or one and done but without more information on what that really means I can only judge him as a player and he's REALLY good.
Some USC fans swear he's still a Trojan just wants to be recruited again, Bayless and Legion both decommitted and then picked the same school(although Legion is wavering now).
Apparently Corperryale Harris wants to reopen his recruitment too but he's signed an LOI to Michigan so they'd have to release him and Beilein hasn't said he will or won't yet.
UA was in for DeAndre Jordan before weren't they? he's also expected to possibly ask out at A&M.
