Wow, we’re actually getting S2 of Good Omens on July 28th. I thought for sure that was a one and done given the story and how long it has been.

Of course. Because when you did a one-off and it's successful, you're going back to the well even if the well is now dry, or half the original creative team is dead. Whatever they make up with the actual living creator will be...something, I guess. Definitely not original.
Looking forward to seeing what they do with this.
Just finished Season 2 which I think was even better than Season 1. Very short seasons (only 6 episodes).
