Dessens would have to go thru waivers to get sent down. We still need arms, and even though he is not pitching well, he is healthy.

Good has unlimited options this year. You will see him, Capuano and Webb yo-yoing.

This makes no sense to me. Edgar Gonzalez and JPatt and maybe Valverde are much more reasonable candidates to send down. Webb won't be yo-yoing if his health holds up, and Good looks like he's getting it organized. Edgar is very young and still needs more polish, and JPatt will have to be darn impressive to stay up over Good. Valverde won't stay once Mantei is back.

But personally - I'd be tempted to send down Elmer AND Myers. If either one gets claimed, I'll be surprised.

Valverde (at least after last night) looks to be the closer for now.

Edgar, yes - makes more sense, but they may be looking at the calendar and trying to pencil in starts out in the future, and will send Edgar down later.

I do not envy the juggling job they have to do.

I'd much rather see JPat go down than Good. Good's last start was pretty solid and showed more promise than all 3 or 4 of Patterson's starts this year, imo.

I would send Patterson down and then put Myers on the DL for some undisclosed injury.
