Every time I change a page on ASFN The site spends forever "connecting to google-analytics.com" and "page2googleanalysis", which is a tracking site for websites, it is really irritating and sometimes will time out the connection.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I have either the same or similar problem. It drives me nuts. I can't remember what it's trying to connect to & it's been a few days since it has happened, but all of last week & the week before were killer.

I've got it happening as I write. Hangs up sometimes. I've started hitting the stop loading button because the dang hourglass gets irritating.

I have never encountered this either, but I have been on some sites that have ads to a busy/down server and the page just freezes. It is hair-pulling-out annoying.

One thing you might try if you use Firefox is to download the adblock add-on and add those domains to the blocked list. Maybe that would help. Not sure
