Gore does not scare me

Why? Because he has yet to post a big game on the Cards. Hopefully this trend will continue...now the Niners did pick up this Wr from the Seahawks that has a history of being a Cardinal killer...I refuse to mention his name out of fear...he might suck against other teams but against us he has been golden.

That was the first game. In the second game, we were more prepared for him. He had 51 yards rushing and 35 yards receiving. That's 86 total yards and he averaged over 135 yards per game last year. But the biggest thing to look at is that regardless of what he did, we won both games and as we all have been told, winning is the only thing that counts.

I give that to you Cheesebeef, but I guess the fact that the performance did not equate in a win for them...well, he does not scare me when I combine his performances against us. I really don't fear Jackson of the Rams either...Shawn Alexander scares the hell out of me...a lot of the games against him it looks like a track meet with our guys losing the race to the nice little orange sticks. But the way I phrased the post, your point is well taken. If someone asked me if Gore and Jackson where good backs, I would say your damn right...but their efforts against us hardly ever helped contribute to a win against us.

that's understandable. What scares me about him is he was able to do that when the Niners probably had the worst recieving core in the league and unfortunately, I believe they're offense got better while our defense got worse in the off-season, so I fear he can do even more now with reciveing threats out there. I'm really hoping our O can still dominate them though - I think our best shot to win is in a shootout. Monday can't get here fast enough!
