I recorded this on my DVR a while ago. I just recently started it while on the treadmill. I loved the opening 15 minutes. The opening song was so 80’s: “Gotcha where I wantcha”. As a self-proclaimed 80’s movies master, I always enjoy watching a movie during that time period that I somehow missed.

Plot Summary

Plot Synopsis: Jonathan plays a game called Gotcha in which he hunts and is hunted by other students with paint guns. After a big win, he goes off for a vacation in Germany where he meets the sexy Sasha who says she is only interested in him because he is a virgin. She takes him with her to East Germany where they are separated and he has to escape back to the west on his own, all the while being trailed by East German spies. He arrives home only to find the game is still going on, and a canister of film is in his backpack. Then Sasha re-appears.

Man, that’s a great list of movies. I’ve got a few of those DVR’d for our Sunday night movie night to watch with my kids. You’ll see a new thread for a few of those soon….

I remember seeing it...in the theater.

I haven't seen it in ages, but remember liking it a lot. Fun movie.

I just watched it. The opening sequence is classic. I couldn’t possibly imagine guys having paintball wars on campus nowadays. It was filled with tons of one-liners and funny dialogue. I was a little disappointed with Linda Fiorentino. I really liked her in Vision Quest, but I didn’t care for her short hair in this one.
