The 2025 NFL Draft is right on our doorstep, which means we are starting to see more of the crazy stuff we see during draft season. No, we aren't talking about the new stories about players that may or may not push them down draft boards. We are talking about the seven-round mock draft exercise that can easily make any draft analyst go crazy.

ESPN's Matt Miller is the latest analyst to dive into the deep end and give us a mock draft that includes all 256 picks.

We want to grade each of his picks and give a quick breakdown of them. For the Bucs, this draft class is going to be pivotal, as the team is in a win-now window. With the right draft class, this team could be the best in the NFC sooner rather than later.

Here is how they faired in Matt Miller's latest mock draft.

Round 1: Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

Grade: A

Malaki Starks is one of the best defensive players in the 2025 NFL Draft, regardless of position. For whatever reason, he is expected to potentially fall down the board, and if he does, then I would think he is a perfect fit for the Bucs. He, alongside Antoine Winfield Jr., is a dream pairing for the Bucs and Todd Bowles on defense.

Round 2: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Grade: B-

Benjamin Morrison entered the year as a potential top-ten pick in the NFL Draft, he now finds himself in the second round of mock drafts. After a down year that was ended by a hip injury, Morrison is seen as a risk. The Bucs have some good, developmental pieces in the secondary, so he can hide behind them while he develops and recovers, but I don't like the risk here for the Bucs.

Round 3: Jack Sawyer, Edge, Ohio State

Grade: A-

The Bucs need some more help at the edge position, and Jack Sawyer is a perfect fit. He has high motor skills and twitchy reaction skills, and he would be a welcomed addition with a high upside within this edge group.

Round 4: Chris Paul Jr., LB, Ole Miss

Grade: B+

Chris Paul Jr. has some size issues that may turn people off, but I am a fan. He was a leader on the Ole Miss defense and was all over the field making plays in the run and pass game. In round 4, he is a perfect pick for the team to stash behind Lavonte David and develop.

Round 5: Isaac TeSlaa, WR, Arkansas

Round 7: Robbie Ouzts, TE, Alabama

Grade for TeSlaa: D+ Grade for Ouzts: D

The Bucs brought back Sterling Shepard as their WR4, so I'm now okay with the team not drafting another wide receiver in next month's draft. Would love to see them add depth on defense or the offensive line in these final two picks instead.
