Awesome!!!

Love the sweep! Even sweeter since many of the sportscasters have picked the Giants to win the NL.

What an aaaaamazing start to the season. Gotta love this team, a bunch of guys who clearly love playing together.

Gotta cut back on those errors though, yikes.

Although it looks like Collmenter won't hold the third spot (if any) in the starting rotation, giving up five earned runs (total of six) in his three innings.

Great relief pitching, especially by Miley, and a great comeback by the D'backs.

I give 3 starts at most before his moves to his rightful spot in the bullpen.

I'm curious to see how long Gibby will leave Collmenter in the starting rotation. Considering he had a bad spring, I don't give him more than two more bad starts.

I think Collmenter will make at least 1 good start at some point, thus somewhat prolonging his stay in the starting rotation.

As a diehard DBacks fan, I too love the sweep. But I have to temper it with the fact that each game was won by one run. In the zany bounces of a baseball game, it could of been us losing each game by 1 run. Don't get me wrong, I will take the 3 wins and pound my chest too, but it is always closer than it seems. I love the fact we broke through on the Giants high paid pitching staff, but I also noticed there is a little more pop in their bats. This could turn out to be a very interesting season. I predict both the DBacks and Giants will make the playoffs. I give us a slight edge as we have great pitching prospects who could make the difference. This is going to be a fun ride!!!!!!! GO :dbacks::dbacks::dbacks:

I forgot to mention that when Upton starts hitting to his potential this year, we are going to be so much tougher.

Cant believe that all of you are ripping on ol ginger. Last year he had 24 starts and he allowed three runs or less in 20 of those starts. Those are some great numbers. You need to realize all he worked on this spring was his curve ball so of course his numbers hurt. It will take him a few starts to get back on track but I know he will get it together. We all know that ginger doesnt have the best stuff but its all about location and mixing speeds. Give the young kid some time.

Don't get me wrong, I love him and hope he spends 15 seasons with the D-Backs. I just do not see him as a starter. I think he would be the perfect setup guy for Hernandez next year. It was proven last year that the second and third time through the order, hitters made more contact. That alone tells me is has the stuff to be a stud in the bullpen not a starter. It is not a knock on him and if we did not have so many arms waiting to come up, he would be in the rotation for the entire year. So, I also think part of it is a numbers game.

This team has no quit in them. No opponent lead is safe. And SF seems to be continuing the trend of folding after they fall behind at any point in the game.
