Diamondbacks placed LHP Terry Mulholland on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left elbow.
Especially with the way manager Bob Melvin was using him in close games, the Diamondbacks are better off with Mulholland on the DL. The 43-year-old had allowed two runs and six hits in three innings.
