BASEBALL​

De Pere 9, Green Bay Preble 6​


DE PERE - The Redbirds used a five-run fourth inning to pull away from a 3-3 tie en route to the Fox River Classic Conference win over the Hornets.

The inning was highlighted by a two-run single by Mason Sequin and an RBI single by Trenton Kriewaldt.

Ryan Wettstein and Kriewaldt were both 2-for-3 with two RBI and Lucas Koskey was 2-for-2. Preble was led by Peyton Kuehn, who was 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Isaac Poehlman earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings of one-hit ball and struck out five, while walking three.

De Pere moves to 4-1 on the season, while Preble falls to 5-1.

Luxemburg-Casco 8, Wrightstown 2​


WRIGHTSTOWN - The Spartans erased an early 1-0 deficit with two runs in the third and fifth, three in the six and one in the seventh to cruise to the North Eastern Conference win.

Landon Derenne was 1-for-3 with three RBI and Jacob Coisman picked up the win, pitching five innings, allowing three hits, one run, five walks and six strikeouts.

Caleb Podgorski took the loss for the Tigers, pitching five innings and allowing four hits, three runs (one earned) with four walks and four strikeouts.

Denmark 7, Clintonville 1​


DENMARK - Cade Delarwelle allowed one run on four hits over 5 1/3 innings to lead the Vikings to the win over the Truckers.

Ozzie Enz pitched the final 1 2/3 innings for Denmark.

Denmark, which scored two runs in each of the first two innings, got three RBI from Kaden Derricks. Tommy Bienapfl, Joshua Gajewski and Braedyn Heezen each had a double.

Marinette 3, Oconto Falls 2​


MARINETTE - Nik Williams singled in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to propel the Marines past the Panthers in North Eastern Conference action.

Chase MacGregor, Levi Hanson, Ethan Doubek and Williams had two hits each for Marinette, which finished with 11 as a team.

Williams picked up the win on the mound, pitching seven innings, allowing just one hit, two runs (one earned) with two walks and five strikeouts.

Marinette scored two runs in the third, but Oconto Falls answered with single runs in the sixth and seventh to tie the game.

Algoma 10, Crivitz 0​


CRIVITZ - The Wolves started fast and cruised to the nonconference win.

Algoma scored four runs in the first, four in the fourth and two in the fifth.

Carson Leist picked up the win on the mound, allowing just one hit, while striking out nine.

Leading the offense for the Wolves were Charlie Prokash, who was 3-for-3 with two RBI; Jacob Massey, who was 2-for-3 with five RBI; and Jonah Dahms, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Gibraltar/Washington Island 10, Hilbert 0​


FISH CREEK - The Vikings scored 10 runs in the third through fifth innings to defeat the Wolves.

Aaron Brey drove in four runs for Gibraltar/Washington Island, while Jaxin Lindgren drove in two.

Bennett Isaacson scored three runs for Gibraltar/Washington Island, with Braden Kita, Brey and Mason Isaacson each scoring twice.

Cashton Konen had two hits for Hilbert.

Bennett Isaacson pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven. Kita pitched the final two innings.

Drew Halbach started and took the loss for Hilbert.

Bonduel 17, Menominee Nation 0​


BONDUEL - The Bears took charge early and cruised to the win over the Eagles in Central Wisconsin Conference-East action.

Bonduel scored four in the first, two in the second and 11 in the fourth.

Beckett Hartlaben, Kody Schroeder, Joe Felhofer and Race Anvelink all hit doubles for the Bears in their 12-hit attack. Felhofer, Hartlaben and Schroeder all had two hits apiece, while Felhofer and Carter Moesch both drove in three runs.

Mason Zuleger went the distance for Bonduel and only gave up one hit, while striking out eight.

Quinn Olson took the loss for Menominee Nation, pitching 3⅓ innings, allowing 12 runs on seven hits and five walks, with five strikeouts.

Bonduel is now 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the CWC East.

Oshkosh West 9, Wrightstown 1 (Wednesday)​


GRAND CHUTE - The Wildcats scored three runs in the fifth inning and five in the sixth to pull away for the nonconference win at Fox Cities Stadium.

Landon Ubrig had two hits, including a double, and three RBI for Oshkosh West. Evan Johnson had two hits and drove in two runs.

Aiden Humphreys had two hits for Wrightstown.

Bryce Reichenberger pitched six innings to get the win. He allowed four hits, one run (unearned) and struck out one.

Trevor Vande Hey took the loss for Wrightstown. He pitched five innings, allowed six hits, four runs and struck out seven.

SOFTBALL​

West De Pere 5, Menasha 4​


DE PERE - The Phantoms scored three times in the seventh inning to turn a 4-2 deficit into a Bay Conference win.

Trailing 3-0 after four, the Phantoms closed to within 3-2 after five. Menasha scored once in the sixth, but West De Pere answered with the winning rally an inning later.

Brooke Shoemaker was 2-for-4 and Braelynn Rukamp drove in two runs to power the Phantoms.

Kloe Bartoszek picked up the win, allowing one run - none earned - on two hits in two innings of relief.

Sam Shuey and Haley Stobb had two hits each to lead the Bluejays.

Bonduel 15, Menominee Nation 1​


BONDUEL - The Bears jumped out to an early lead and cruised to the Central Wisconsin Conference-East win.

Bonduel scored five times in the first with the big hit being a two-RBI single by Emery Thompson. The Bears plated six runs in the second with Allison Zernicke, Greycyn Wudtke and Tatum Sporisky hitting consecutive RBI singles.

Thompson and Sporisky combined to allow one unearned run on four hits with six strikeouts in five innings.

Sevastopol 11, Reedsville 1​


STURGEON BAY - Leah Schopf hit a lead-off home run in the last half of the fifth inning to end the game and give the Pioneers the win over the Panthers.

Naomi Rikkola was 3-for-3 with three home runs and seven RBI for Sevastopol. Addison Schauske also had three hits, including a home run.

Schauske was the winning pitcher, going four innings and allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine.

GIRLS SOCCER​

Appleton North 4, Pulaski 0​


PULASKI - The Lightning pulled away with three second-half goals for the nonconference win.

Madi Hacker, Claire Zulewski, Brinley Dunsirn and Emily Apostolou all scored goals for North. Adding assists were Hacker, Zulewski and Alexis Schuh.

BOYS LACROSSE​

Appleton United 11, Notre Dame 1 (Wednesday)​


GREEN BAY - Tristan Dean scored six goals as Appleton improved to 5-0 on the season with the victory over the Tritons.

After allowing an early goal, senior goalie Collin Mancl shut out Notre Dame’s offense for the remaining 3½ quarters.

Roen Willis added two goals for Appleton, while Jaylen Kempfer, Jayden Golding and Brody Olp each had one.
