Greg Bird’s journey back to the Yankees from another ankle surgery appears to be almost over, as the first baseman is expected to be back with the Yankees on Saturday against the Angels. “I think he’s good to go,’’ manager Aaron Boone said before the Yankees’s 2-1 win over the Angels in The Bronx on Friday night.
