So is it $7M per year or $7M total (1.75 per)?

$7M per year is what we pay Veldheer, so Im not happy if we gave him that much.
For the NFL.com article it said he doubled up on last year salary of 3 1/2 million so I'm assuming 7 million per year

The Guaranteed money, how many years are player/team option, player incentives, etc. Like az jam says, it really isn't money unless it's guaranteed.

It's too bad Momah has had so many injury issues because everytime he is on the field he makes an impact. Here's to hoping he has a clean year

Not sure how 2 career catches constitutes "making an impact" on the field. Momah has potential, but not a big enough sample size to conclude that he's impactful

I'll reserve judgement until the final contract details are made public by the team. I'm not interested in relying on unnamed sources.

Early numbers:

4 years, 24 mil, 10-12 mil guaranteed.

Per Jurecki on Facebook
That's a little more than I would've liked, but not too bad. Definitely rewards him for playing cheaply the last 2 seasons.

I suppose that's not too bad assuming he won't see the last year of that. Depending how it's structured maybe 4-5m cap hit this year.

4 years is two years too long. We will regret this in a couple of years, but it definitely is a good signing for the now. As long as we can get CC back....

That kind of contract seems like it'd be easy to get out of after Year 2 with little damage. Not concerned.

Also, Campbell isn't coming back barring some unforeseen circumstance.

Nice signing, but there were a few too many dropped passes and badly timed false start penalties early in the season that would make me want to put the "beast" label on him.

The money tempers my enthusiasm.

I'm waiting for more signings.

Sorry, but i have never understood this thinking. it's not our money, who CARES how much Bidwill pays players? There is no trophy for "MOST AWESOME CAP MANAGEMENT". Screw it, get guys who will win games and trophies. F the cap. You win a trophy, cap hell in future years is a SMALL price to pay.

So, you'd be cool with throwing Campbell 20mil a year and making it so we can't sign anyone else?
