Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant will be sidelined for the foreseeable future while dealing with back spasms, the team announced on Saturday afternoon. Morant aggravated the back spasms in their 103-94 loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night at FedExForum after first suffering the spasms in their loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Morant, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA draft this summer, has averaged 18.6 points and 6.4 assists in 17 games this season while playing nearly 29 minutes per game.
