Memphis Grizzlies stars Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. are among seven players listed as doubtful to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday (2:30 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).

Memphis is essentially valuing rest over the small probability of moving from the No. 8 to No. 7 seed on Sunday, the final day of the regular season.

Morant (right shoulder soreness), Bane (left abductor soreness) and Jackson (low back soreness) are joined by four other teammates as doubtful to play. Santi Aldama (left ankle soreness), Zach Edey (left ankle soreness), Luke Kennard (right knee soreness) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (low back soreness) are also doubtful.

The Grizzlies (47-34) would be the No. 7 seed and host a Play-in game on Tuesday with a win on Sunday and a Minnesota Timberwolves loss. Minnesota (48-33) is playing against the Western Conference's worst team, so it's unlikely they'll lose. Minnesota will be at home against the Utah Jazz. The game has the same start time as the game between the Grizzlies and Mavericks.

Yuki Kawamura, Lamar Stevens, GG Jackson, Jay Huff, Marvin Bagley, Cam Spencer, Vince Williams Jr. and John Konchar are expected to be available. Memphis must have eight players available.
