CLEVELAND — It's not great baseball weather, but there's a chance baseball will be played at Progressive Field for the first time in 2025 on Tuesday.
After a 3-6 road trip, the Guardians return to Cleveland for their home opener against the Chicago White Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m., though temperatures are expected to be in the 30s, and some precipitation in some form is possible.
Ben Lively is slated to take the mound against the White Sox, who are coming off of the worst season in modern baseball history.

Jack Sawyer, who just helped Ohio State to a national title, will be throwing out the first pitch on Tuesday.
Tuesday's game can be viewed locally on AT&T U-verse (channel 1736), COX (channel 80), DIRECTV Satellite and Streaming (channel 662), FuboTV and Spectrum (channel 1306). It can also be streamed via MLB's direct-to-consumer streaming subscription (CLEGuardians.TV) for $99.99 a season or $19.99 a month. And it'll be available on the radio via WTAM 1100, WMMS 100.7 and WARF 1350.
