Højlund finally ends goal drought with opening goal at Leicester

Perhaps taking inspiration from Newcastle ending their trophy drought, Rasmus Højlund ended one of his own, scoring his first goal in 22 long games to give Manchester United the lead at Leicester.

The Danish striker had not scored since netting a brace away to Viktoria Plzeň in the Europa League on December 12th, while his last Premier League goal came five days earlier.

Despite a horrid run of form, he took his goal brilliantly, latching onto Bruno Fernandes' lofted through ball and finishing with a fine right-footed strike into the bottom corner.

The drought is over!

Maybe things are starting to look up for him and United?
