Hall Pass

Release Date: February 25, 2011
Studio: New Line Cinema (Warner Bros.)
Director: Bobby Farrelly, Peter Farrelly
Screenwriter: Bobby Farrelly, Peter Farrelly, Pete Jones, Kevin Barnett
Genre: Comedy
MPAA Rating: R (for crude and sexual humor throughout, language, some graphic nudity and drug use)
Website: Hall-Pass-movie.com

Starring: Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Richard Jenkins, Christina Applegate, Alexandra Daddario, Stephen Merchant, Nicky Whelan, Larry Joe Campbell, Tyler Hoechlin

Plot Summary: Rick (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudeikis) are best friends who have a lot in common, including the fact that they have each been married for many years. But when the two men begin to show signs of restlessness at home, their wives (Jenna Fischer, Christina Applegate) take a bold approach to revitalizing their marriages: granting them a "hall pass," one week of freedom to do whatever they want...no questions asked. At first, it sounds like a dream come true for Rick and Fred. But it isn't long before they discover that their expectations of the single life--and themselves--are completely, and hilariously, out of sync with reality.

Boy did the Farrelly brothers strike again with this one!

It had some true raunchy LOL moments that are really out there. I was dying in theater.

Good good stuff!

I want to punch Sudeikis in the face for some reason. He bugs me.

The scene where everyone is in the saferoom watching the two guys make fun of the host couple was classic.

I am surprised so many people liked it, the trailers for this movie were awful, so I skipped it.

Now I am going to have to rent it.

Yes overall I would say it was just ok but there were some REALLY funny moments.

The pot brownie adventure on the golf course was pretty damn funny. Sudeikis getting caught in the mini van was funny. And that Australian blonde was super hot.

The spa scene had me in tears from laughing. Also, it was a nice change of pace from the usual comedies (wink wink).

I did think it was a bit too long and clunky, but it was a fun movie.

Christina Applegate and Jason Sudeikis are awesome.

It wasn't "mindless" there were some very memorable and thought provoking nude scenes.;)

If you're in the mood for raunchy, this is a decent choice. I thought there were some very funny scenes but all in all, it's not exactly my kind of movie. If you just want to watch a movie that will make you laugh and feel better about the world in general though, watch Easy A. Easily the most entertaining non-action movie I've seen in several years.

I won't deny that but Easy A really caught me by surprise. I don't feel complete going a whole week without pushing that movie. Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson play the greatest parents since the invention of the nuclear family. Thomas Haden Church plays the teacher we all wish we had and Malcolm McDowell is his normal stellar self as the Principal. It's just a great all around cast and yet, Emma Stone absolutely out-shines them all.

It's the kind of movie that makes me say if you watch it and don't like it, I'd recommend you skip any further recommendations from me because clearly we're looking for and entertained by completely different things. Of course, if everyone was looking for the same thing from a movie as I am, people like Judd Apatow and to a lesser extent the Farrelly Brothers would have had very short Hollywood careers.

I recently watched it.

Yeah that scene was awesome. It was downhill from there but it did have its moments.
