Halo: Master Chief Collection

Kids were begging me to pull out the old original Xbox and set it up so that they could play Halo. I was too lazy so I picked up the Halo: Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One. It has the first 4 releases of Halo all on one disc. I only got to play the orignal Halo so this is like 3 new games for me.

So far it has been great, especially since I didn't have to go find and hook up the old Xbox . Best part is that it has the old 4 player split screen mode so that 4 people can play on the same Xbox One in the same room. Finally another game where I get to use my 4 controllers that I purchased. Kids and I have been blowing each other up for hours. So much fun!

My son and I did some Co-op campaigning. They redid the graphics on the campaign mode and it looks way better than the original.

Probably could have waited for it to come down in price but for me it was worth it.

Nice. I got bored of Halo long ago but for those who are still into it, this disc is a great deal.

The 4 player split screen IS nice and driving warthogs and etc sure is fun.

I want to say halo 3 or something was a games with gold on 360 recently. May have to break it out to play with my son too. Your post reminded me that he would probably like to just ride around in the vehicles and goof off. Hes not quite old enough to play a shooter for real yet.
