And Clark NOT put on the Injured List.

He will be in four or five games when Lampe is eligible to come off the list again.

Is that because we are required to carry 12 on the active roster? That's what I'm assuming it is.

There are reports that Clark may actually play sometime after March 1st (I put this under I'll believe it when I see it).

On a related topic (just barely), does anyone know if there is a website that tracks player injuries and published reports on their progress? It is frustrating trying to tell if a player is having a bad year or just playing with an injury.

D'Antoni said yesterday on the radio that Clark would not play for the Phoenix Suns this season.

My understanding is that players cannot be traded directly to the injured list, so the Phoenix Suns had to have enough spots for them on the active roster. That is why they put Lampe on the IL yesterday and waited until today after they waved that one guy to activate Antonio McDyess.

Call me crazy, but I always liked Keon Clark...I think he would be a good role player for this team.

I wish I was a foot taller. Then I could make millions of dollars and spend my life playing basketball, playing video games, and smoking pot.

I would guess at least a third, probably more.

Doubt this will help, but I used to live in an apartment that was a guesthouse on a guy's property who used to play here in Portland (also for the Suns). You can guess who it is, but I won't say names. About 60% of the team was there at one time or another smoking and playing video games. This was at the time when Drexler (never saw him at the house) was here and they were not known as the "Jailblazers" yet. Visiting teams players would show up when they were in town. He would give us free tickets sometimes and one preseason game I saw them smoke out in the yard before the game. Watching the game it was so obvious to my girlfriend and I who was at the house. From what I witnessed, I would gamble 40-45% do at least once in awhile. I never saw them (or smelled) anything during the season. When this guy was picked up by the Suns I was not thrilled. He was a great neighbor and a really kind person. It was fine when he did it with the Blazers, but I just didn't want him going down to Phoenix and smoking that nasty stuff and playing for my team.
