Man, did I have high hopes for this Sundance show. It started out brilliantly. The cast is great: James Purefoy, Michael Kenneth Williams, Christina Hendricks. The chemistry and banter between the leads kicked off right away. A great buddy show, right? Well, when a show falls apart halfway through a six-episode season, you have problems. The messed up plot worked real well until the buddy show Hap and Leonard ceased to actually be about, you know, HAP AND LEONARD lol
Maybe if they have a second season, I'll check it out. At its base, it's a good show, and the chemistry is there. If it strays again, though...
