Hard Knocks reportedly interested in Jets, but Jets aren't interested

Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams had a starring role on Hard Knocks last season as a member of the Cleveland coaching staff and there's reportedly interest in having him back for another run in 2019. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that NFL Films has not spoken to the team yet, but that there's interest in having the Jets appear on the program. Their interest is likely connected to a coaching staff that features Williams and Joe Vitt, who told NFL investigators that Williams lied when he spoke to them during the investigation into bounty allegations against the Saints.
