It's been 10 years since that memorable 1993 NBA Finals against the Chicago Bulls. This town was going completely nuts 10 years ago. Driving around town, you'd see "GO SUNS" signs on buildings and cars. Vendors selling Suns t-shirts on just about every streetcorner it seemed like. It still makes me sick to my stomach every time I see a replay of Jim Paxson's Game 6 3-pointer that beat us. Despite that disappointing ending, there are still many good memories from that '93 playoff run. Suns.com has just put up a look back at the 1993 playoffs, including interviews, videos and 93 photographs, many of which have never been made public before.

Here's the link....

At that time I was working in a Rebar yard in the evenings after school. I would drive to my parents house 6-7 p.m. to get some free food, and I remember that on game nights during a playoff run I would maybe see a handful of cars on the road. It was awesome!

In fact that was my senior year of high school. During the Lakers series my parents went out of town for an entire week. Needless to say I had giant party at my house. But for a couple hours there were probably around a hundred people packed into our family room watching the Suns prevail in Game 4. Then we proceeded with our hedonistic ways. :)

The Cardinals stunk as always, ASU wasn't doing well, and the Phoenix Suns were the only other team in town. They were the original professional sports team. EVERYBODY here in the valley followed them. Was really cool.

Oh, the memories. :)
