Question: What’s up next for you?

Devin Harris: This was my final workout. Then I head to New York tomorrow, so we’ll see what’s going to happen.

Question: Did this workout with the Suns differ from the first?

Harris:This one had some more drills, but it was pretty much the same stuff.

Question: What do you think your chances of coming here to Phoenix to play?

Harris: I feel really good about it. I’m hoping that it’s something that can happen. The draft is really freaky. You never know what will happen. I’m excited about being with this organization.

Question: How many workouts have you had?

Harris: This makes five this week. Five different cities.

Question: What kind of guard are you? Point? Combo?

Harris: I’m more of a point guard who can score.

Question: How do you think you’ll fit in here?

Harris: They’ve got Amaré Stoudemire, so you just feed him. That gets guys a lot of open shots. You go through him.

Question: Talk about some of the big-name players you’ve gone up against recently?

Harris: There are some great point guards I’ve gone against. Ben Gordon, Jameer Nelson, Shaun Livingston. They have different strengths, having different talents. They are all capable of going in the first four in the draft.

Question: Talk about that Atlanta workout?

Harris: That was a workout. All four of us worked out together. There was some heavy competition going around. It was fun though. All the guys got to match up against each other, so it was a good time.

Question: Have you had second workouts with any other team?

Harris: No, this is the only team.

Question: This has got to be a lot different than Chicago.

Harris: A lot different. The guys I’ve been playing… mountains. It’s my fist time in Phoenix, too, so I’m trying to enjoy it.

Question: What’s the biggest difference in going from the offense in Wisconsin to playing here?

Harris: It’s not that different. We had a set offense, but we had a lot of things on the side. The pick and rolls, we had a lot of that going on. And there’s a lot of pick and rolls in the NBA. So we’ll play off that.

Question: Do you follow mock drafts online?

Harris: I try and stay away from them. Even general managers have told me that that’s not something I should look at. They are the ones making that decision, so it’s hard to go off what writers are saying.

Also no word on Ben Gordon. I thought he was supposed to workout against Harris?

Did we work him out in Chicago? Did we work out Iguodala in Chicago?

Where are the interviews? Suns.com definately gets some minus points for their draft coverage this year. Umm wait not some , A LOT.

I read earlier that Gordon cancelled on us.

That would probably mean he has a promise from a higher team, right? I wonder who?

But Chad Ford said that Ben Gordon had the most impressive workout with the Suns?

Wait now that I think about it I read somewhere that the Suns were one of 3 or 4 teams that attended Gordon's workout in New York or LA or something.

I think this would have been the 2nd workout we would have had with Gordon, but he cancelled. Whether the 1st one was that one in NY, I don't know. You're probably right there.

I'm sure the Clippers didn't want to pick Gordon at #2, going to #4 makes them more likely to take him now.

Looks like Harris may be the choice.

Unless Gordon miraculously falls into their lap.

I'm going into this thinking that Harris is the guy.

(barring any last-minute trade)

Which I don't understand. Has Harris had ANY good workouts lately? Everything I've heard has been extremely negative.

What scares me about Harris is that I haven't really seen him play except highlight clips and he got a lot of negative press about his workouts.

I know one thing though. He can dunk and really get up. I like that. And he has an explosive first step.

He is an interesting PG. He have runned pretty calmly Wisconsin's half-court offense. He tries to find the easiest way to scoring.

He is skinny but that is easily changable. I haven't really seen him often either but I didn't see any serious flaws in his game.

I agree. The reports of his workouts against the other draft picks scared me a bit, but I was quite impressed with his play the few times I saw him in college. He is very fast and an excellent ball handler.

I know the Phoenix Suns have seen in Gordon because Mike D'Antoni said last night that he was the most impressive point guard that they had seen so far.

I am wondering if the suns like Harris because he is slated as a true point guard that can score?

He looks to pass first and with Amare, JJ, and Marion they may want that more than a combo guard.

I am still thinking that if Livingston somehow drops the suns will take him.
He probably will be gone by #7 though. If he is not, someone made a bad mistake!!
