I've used Magicjack for a decade or so. Not really any complaints and have used it when traveling abroad. I started with MJ before Google voice was available. Occasionally, I might run into a conf call # that it won't allow, but that's very rare. Mostly because it's not a toll-free or direct line call; vary rare though. About $40/yr

Google voip is another option and like BRR said, free.

I've used google voice for years to track conversations. I set it up to be my real number but typically, it is a second number. It is a great, free service, I have zero complaints.

Same. I haven't owned a cell phone in years. I ported my # to google voice years ago and use google voice on my work phone. I use my ipod touch on wifi most of the time for my personal stuff.

I would love to do that but I only really have WiFi at home
