I don't know if he would be available when the Suns pick, but his profile makes him an interesting PG prospect.

Stats
NBA Comparison: Aaron McKie
Strengths: At 6-6 he's got the ability to run the show from the point guard position ... Very smooth offensive abilities ... Plays a controlled game, doesn't try to be too flashy or make spectacular plays, keeps it simple and effective ... Excellent vision and passing ... Shooting mechanics and fundamentals are very good ... Good ball handler ... Long arms help out with closing passing lanes and getting to the rim ... Good defender coming out of the Temple system which emphasizes defense ... Excellent at anticipating passes, ball hawking style ... Great team player, excellent versatility ... Extremely durable player, plays almost 40 minutes every game, and rarely if ever misses a start.
Weaknesses: Never a bigtime scorer, although the Temple system limits him somewhat in that regard ... Shooting %s have never been great from outside, although these numbers get hurt by collapsing defenses and forced shots taken with the shot clock running low ... Lacks a very athletic body, especially on appearance ... Not a very physical player, should use his size advantage better offensively ... Not a huge leaper, lacks great explosiveness or a devastating first step ... Upside is decent, but not off the charts ... One of those guys who is solid in a number of areas, but fails to stand out in any one area ... Must become better at moving without the ball, can be a little too ball dependant ... Free throw shooting is below average ...

A legit 6-6 PG. Has great size for the position, and unlike many converted wing to point prospects, really plays like one too. Unselfish, controls the tempo and plays the game with tremendous poise and patience. Plays within himself, never forcing things, and rarely making unforced errors. Smart and fundamentally sound, seems to have a great understanding of the game; knows when to look for his shot and when to get his teammates involved. Has good playmaking skills, runs his team's halfcourt offense to perfection; executing extremely well. Usually strict Hall of Fame coach John Chaney appears to trust him with eyes closed. Possesses fine leadership skills and an excellent demeanor on the floor. Has a reputation for being a clutch player.
An excellent ball-handler as well, dribbles the ball low and with great confidence. Has a nice crossover dribble that he can use to get his defender off balance and either slash to the hoop or pull up for the jump shot. Has good elevation on his jump shot and a quick release. Pretty athletic as well, has a nice first step and an extra burst of speed he can use to get by his man. Changes gears well and has a decent vertical leap.
Has nice form on his jumper and can hit the mid-range shot.
Collins utilizes his size extremely well to see over the top of defenses and find the open man. Has a good wingspan as well, and uses it to disrupt the passing lanes and come up with plenty of steals, ranking in the top 5 in the country for steals per game (3.6) at the moment. He's also a solid rebounder for his position, averaging 5 per game on the year so far.
Collins knows that he has a tremendous advantage with his size and versatility at the PG position, and has also developed a post-up game to better take advantage of that. He uses his strength and excellent footwork to back down his man and usually has no problem scoring over the top of him.
Very experienced, has started in every game for Temple since he stepped on campus. Fantastic conditioning, plays the full 40 minutes for his team more often then not, even as a Sophomore, but especially as a Junior, usually looking as if he isn't breaking a sweat.
Doesn't seem to have to have many holes in his game, if at all. Just a solid all around player that's very underrated on the national level.
Weaknesses
Most likely a solid role player in the NBA, not a star.
A good athlete, but not a freak. Needs to work on his outside shooting, as he's only averaging 32% from behind the arc for the season, attempting about 5 threes per game. He has potential here, though, as he doesn't get a lot of open looks as Temple's star player. As the point guard he's also the one who needs to chuck up contested shots playing in Coach Chaney's conservative offense. He's shown the ability to hit the three, even off the dribble, it's just a matter of getting more consistent in this area.
Collins' defense is somewhat hard to evaluate, as Temple plays zone defense almost exclusively. He uses his hands a little too much, but seems to be a pretty good defender. Whether or not he can guard NBA PG's man to man is yet to be seen, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out.
Collins needs to work on his free throw shooting, he's averaging 64% for the year which is below average for a guard.
