I think they have by adding Antoine Walker and Tony Delk.

I thought Dallas had a solid 3 to build around: Nash, Nowitzki, and Finley.

Instead, Antawn Jamison and Antoine Walker have come in. And, nobody seems to know what's going on.

I think the odd man out is Finley (which would be bad for Dallas).

Just think that this is the beginning of the decline for this team.

The Lakers still own the Mavs, so I don't worry too much about them.

I'm not sure I'd write off the Mavs at this point... remember last year everyone thought Nelson was nuts for bringing in van Exel. Somehow he made it work despite Norm's being a 'cancer' and a ball hog. I don't expect the Mavs to get off to a start like they did last year but by the end of the season I'd bet they're going to be serious contenders for the title.

I do hope they get it going good... love to see them run the Laker's venerable guys into the ground in the playoffs.
