Heilman to be released

The Arizona Diamondbacks are desperate for bullpen help, but not enough to keep around the struggling Aaron Heilman.

Jack Magruder of FoxSportsArizona.com tweeted Monday night that Heilman has cleaned out his locker and will be released.

The D-backs need to open a roster spot for Barry Enright, who will be recalled from the minors to start Tuesday. The casualty looks like Heilman, who signed a $2 million deal in January. His last outing came Friday, when he allowed two runs in an inning against the Dodgers.

Even with a glut of relievers expected to be available, Heilman (6.88 ERA) will likely find a job elsewhere as long as the D-backs are picking up the tab.

FIIIIIINNNNAAALLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY :D

And I am not crying for him over losing his job, he still gets his 2 million bucks for basically getting shelled every time he was in...

Worst pitcher for the Dbacks since Russ Ortiz (That guys still makes me cringe)
