Help Please

I know most of you don't know me but I need serious help as I'm driving myself crazy. I'm trying to think of band and cannot remember hardly anything. Here's what I do remember:

1. They're a rock band about as heavy as say 3 Days Grace
2. They're a three piece band
3. They had one major radio play song that I can remember. I don't remember the song name but the video was shot in a warehouse and there was red velvet all around. The beginning of the video starts off with the band driving up to the warehouse in a black car and then the band members get out and start playing. It's an anthem type song along the lines of AFI's "Miss Murder".

The following clues may or may not be true but seem to strike a chord with me.
1. The band is not Thrice but that name seems to keep popping in my head.
2. For some reason I got the feeling that they were a German band.
3. The song that I referred to above seemed to me to have some sort of vampiric or gothic general sense.

I know all of this is very vague and a bit cryptic but if you could provide any help you might just save my sanity. Thank you.

I'm not quite sure to be honest with you. It was probably around 2 years ago.

Sorry, no. I know this is probably an impossible and fruitless request but I was hoping that something in the description might spark someone's memory. It has been eating at me for a couple days now and I can't remember a thing about it.

I was thinking Chevelle also. I don't watch videos much though. This is pretty tough.

It's not Chevelle or The Exies. I'm very familiar with both of those bands but thank you as well for trying. If I remember correctly, they really only had one major radio song. I also think the lead singer shaved his head (no, not Disturbed). I didn't mean to bring my brain cramp to all of you. I just thought someone might happen to know what I was talking about. Thank you all for trying.

OK, so I was off on a couple of items. There wasn't any red velvet and it was the bass player, not the lead singer that had a shaved head. The band is Alkaline Trio and the song was Time To Waste. Thank you all for trying to help me out.

BTW, Alkaline Trio is from Chicago. I have most of their albums, if you don't own any my favorite is From Here to Infirmary. Crimson is the album with the song you were thinking of.
