The other night my computer froze and it would not shut off, so I unplugged it and turned it back on. Once the computer rebooted check disk started running and said the file is dirty. After 12 hours it was still checking the disk. I was not able to get on the computer so I unplugged the computer once again, which I know is not good to do. I rebooted the computer and check disk started running right away. There was no way I could type anything in to avoid this. My question is, how can I stop this? My mouse does not work and I have the blue screen with the the check disk running.
