I guess my brain is getting soft(er). Please help me with this one.....


Colorado gets a score in the 5th, with 2 out from Counsell's fielding error. Why is this an earned run?

Counsell did not get an error on the play. He should of knocked it down so it would of not gone in the outfield.

They announced on tv that the ruling was changed to an error shortly after the play. However, it looks like from the boxscore that there actually was no error given on the play, so either they changed the ruling again, or the tv booth was mistaken.

On the ESPN Boxscore, it is scored an error on Counsell.
