Well maybe the CARDs will make a move with some of the cap money they have left. If he is going to walk away from all that $ with the Yanks I am sure he is going to want something. Maaybe he can be pick up for a 3rd rounder. Excellent move on part of Texans.

He's a great prospect. I don't think he'll ever play for us his history shows he'll be very picky about where he plays.

The thing with Drew is and even a guy I met in Baja who's very connected to Michigan said this, he's good and he knows he's good, he's a bit of a primadonna. he will absolutely maneuver where he ends up I would almost bet on it.

Interesting this is on the Denver board too, like us they discussed him this year(some wanted him in round 3) and they are a much more likely team for him because of Shanahan.

The key is I don't know how much money is a factor for Drew, he's made enough in baseball he may be willing to pick the "best situation" over the most money.

He's better than Hutchinson but he has been out of baseball for awhile so there absolutely WILL be a learning curve. He'd be a great pickup the talent is unquestioned.

FWIW, Denver not only cut Jarious Jackson(after rumors had them signing him to an extension), they then surprised everyone by cutting Kannell over the weekend after he was told he made the team. So they're either looking at picking up an O'Donnell or Wuerffel, or maybe they are clearing space to trade for henson?

Just a thought it's unlikely they'll go into the season with just Jake and Beuerlein.

My guess is Henson will wind up on someone's practice squad this year.

How would you sneak Henson to your practice squad? If you trade for him basically you are making him a 3rd stringer and developing him for the future. No way someone trades for him and then sticks him on waivers.

Correct, for some reason I forgot that practice squad means exposed to waivers.

Henson is STILL denying this report but "insiders" say he's already told the Yankees he's done as soon as the AAA season ends. The Texans say they had a team call last week asking what they would take for him.

Henson can only make 225K with a 13K bonus this year as that's all Houston has left in rookie cap. there's been some talk he'll sit out the year and go into next years draft, but Pasquarelli says that's "unlikely" I guess he wants to play and get the rust off.
