Heroes

1. Andy Isabella. Showed today what he can contribute to this offense with td's. Looks like he believes he belongs. And if Kyler throws to him instaed of a double covered Johnson, who knows?
2. DeAndre Hopkins. Talk about Mr. Smooth. What a stud. Makes you want us to throw it to him 30 times a game.
3. Budda Baker. The guy plays hard every play even with torn thumb ligament.

Goats.

1. Kyler. He sucked today. Another grounding penalty. Three picks. Missed open receivers forcing the ball to the wrong receiver. Three picks and all of them were bad.
2. Byron Murphy. The Lions saw a weakness and exploited it over and over. There has to be someone on this roster that can do better job.
3. Coaching. Kingsbury but not just him. Doesn't make sense to run a gadget play with Steveler. We have a built in gadget play in Kyler Murray. Our opponents must be bursting inside with joy watching Kyler on the sidelines on a 4th and short situation. Vance Joseph. Does your defense realize when you blitz your Db's need to play tight. And at what point do you realize your defense is getting burnt just about every time you blitz but you continue to do it? Also you have a "shut down" corner that seems to be practicing social distancing.

GOATS:
1. Yeah, bad game for K1. I think he will come out next game pissed.
2. He closed out the SF game for us on 2 late plays so I give him a pass.
3. K2 does get too cute at times. Needs to go with our strengths. Joseph is what my Bronco fan friends said he was, and why he was let go.
HEROS:
1. Izzy is coming around. Can't explain going to Johnson instead of him.
2. Hopkins. First I did not like extending and paying a player with 3 cheap years on his contract. Now that I have seen him play and the way he goes on about his business, he was a steal. Love the guy.
3. Budda can tackle after catch but I would like to see him be there to defend the catch and intercept someone. Still like him though.

Kyler was horrible today but watching him at Oklahoma and all of last year plus our first two games this was the worst game I’ve seen from him.

one bad game and now he’s Kapernick and he’s horrible, relax he’s only in his second year.

VJ just isn’t the guy for this defense he’s alright and all but he’s very conservative especially when we shouldn’t be

Thinking that Budda Baker is good is something that will hold this team back.

He’s active, but he can’t cover anyone and he doesn’t make plays on the ball.

Explains why our coverage can't generate a turnover to save its life.

yeah we are like the opposite of a “ball hawking” defense. This defense really needs to come out and stuff the Panthers pedestrian offense without their best offensive player.

buddah a hero? He whiffed horribly on the first two big gains of the day leading to Lions points and was laughably bad in coverage today. Yes, he played hurt. He also played like crap.

he’s the safety equivalent of No Play Raynoch Thompson. Cool sounding name, good #, looks the part... and does next to nothing impactful on the field.

and we made him the highest paid S... ever.

Budda is great...at certain things.

If you had a Spider graph for his skill set it would be int he 90's for reading the run, tackling, making plays on the ground etc

And it would be flat on the other side for hands, coverage and positioning.

I mostly agree.

Never throw the ball to Keesean Johnson again...ever...ever...ever. Nuk, Larry, Isabella, whoever but not Johnson.
100% Agree

Raynoch Thompson - there’s a name from the past! I would cut Johnson and certainly never throw towards him again, he is terrible.

Kuddos to Budda for playing through the pain but that cast on his right hand really hurt his performance and it was not a good game for him. Those two uncharacteristic missed tackles on the first drive were a direct result of that cast on the right hand. He also had that pass deflection that might have been an INT if he had two good thumbs. I get the Hero for playing thing but his play didn't quite equate to a hero this week.

Byron Murphy really scares the crap out of me. He has been the favorite target of opposing QBs since September of 2019.

KK play calling left a lot to be desired. It was Bush League out there.

Lol! Not much to chose from for a third hero. I’ll change that to the cheerleaders.

I was cursing loudly when he threw that ball to 4.6 fourty KJ being double covered when Isabella was wide open. Hopefully KM will now start to look for Isabella?
