Hey guys, need a Suns writer

Guys,

We need a Suns writer for this site...someone to write up brief stuff on summer league results, signings, etc.

Doing this will get you on the press release email list, meaning you get the press releases from the Suns directly.

But we need you to be committed to doing this. The Cards area already has some seriously committed writers...and I'd like to see some good Suns coverage on this site.

I might like to write a few articles once in a while, but not many. Not very serious about it though.

I will continue offering the occasional impromptu general piece -- I did three or four last season and hope to do a couple more than that this year -- but unfortunately I can't commit to producing anything on a consistent, timely basis.

Unfortunatly I am in Yuma, so I wouldn't be able to go to AWA for press conferences and the like. I think I would be an unpopular choice by Chap and others who may think I am full of (insert whatever choice of vile material here) in my basketball knowledge. Not to put someone on the spot, but Joe Mama is pretty nuetral in opinion to me.

We don't need nuetral opinions here...we need fans perspectives...just updates on how the summer leagues are going, etc. Short stories, nothing big.

I would do it, if I was paying attention. Some of you guys post daily on how the guys are doing...now, if we could get you to make that into a short story, that would rock.

I got the passion and am a local, watch and listen to sports but not sure I realy have the time. If we are talking on the weekend I could do something. If you are talking about posting news flashes I could do that as well. Maybe we can get a two headed monster to do this? I will be willing to provide my services.

Well, let us know if you guys are serious...it's mostly like a first come, first served kind of thing.

If you are on our press release email list, you can reply to our list and let us know that you're adding the news.

So whoever is available to do it, they can do it.

But we'd also like some commentaries, like quick stuff on how the summer leagues are doing, etc.

We need baseball too.

Well, I can write some stories. I watch most of the games. However, I am sometimes, well frequently away from my office, and I worry about missing breaking news. I do think the beat writers for the Republic miss some angles, or some of the players good streaks during a game, so I think additional info is always easy to write about. Maybe a few of us can work this out like a labor of love!
