Division II
Starter Zayden Kent pitched 6 innings, allowing only 3 hits and one run while striking out 13, while Vito Paglia had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs as they led the Mariners to the victory. For Middletown, Evan LeVasseur went the whole game on the mound, struck out 8 and had two hits at the plate. Narragansett broke a 1-1 tie game with 2 runs in the bottom of the third and held on from there.
Travis Howman kept the Kilties' bats at bay for most of the day, striking out 13 over 5 innings to earn the win. The Spartans scored early to take a 1-0 lead, then tacked on 4 more in the third and a few more insurance runs later in the contest. Paul Zolkos led the offense with a pair of hits in the win.
Nick Andruchow went 2-for-2, Logan Fernandes drilled a double and Luke Gallo also got a hit and each player drove in a pair of runs as the Wizards won going away. Cole Milburn had two hits for the Vikings.
Division I
The Eagles improved to 3-1 in a mercy-rule shortened game against the Patriots. Barrington was led by pitcher Kendall Fisher who gave up 2 hits and no runs while going 2-for-3 with a triple and driving in 3 runs. Maya Etheridge was 3-for-3, with a pair of RBIs and played stellar defense in the win. Also adding 2 hits each were Alyssa Conaty, Ace McCoy, Grace Fontaine and Arianna Renzi.
Division III
Payton Abrams was a force at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a triple, 5 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. Grace Blessing was 2-for-2 with 3 RBIs and Brianna Reidy went 2-for-2, scored 3 runs and drove home another, as the Mariners cruised past the Paul Cuffee/St. Patrick co-op. Pitcher Cassidy Solomon tossed a one-hitter to earn the win. For Paul Cuffee, Emily Rivieria was 1-for-2 and Jessica Rivera drew 2 hit-by-pitches and scored a run.
Division II
The play of Santi Saucedo (20 digs, 4 aces, 2 assists), Jeremy Thao (26 assists, 5 digs, 3 aces) and Ethan Pereira (8 kills, 2 blocks) sparked the Wizards to a 25-11, 25-16, 25-20 victory over the Patriots. Sam Skinner (5 kills, 2 aces) and Gabe Orduna (4 blocks, 8 assists) led the attack for West Warwick.
Andrew Bissonette accounted for 4 aces while making 19 assists, Jaydel DeJesus chipped in with 6 digs and 2 blocks and Aaron Utley had 9 kills as the Villa Novans held off the Titans, 25-12, 17-25, 28-26, 25-18. Rowan Pereira had 12 kills, 6 digs, 4 aces and a block for Toll Gate.
The visiting Lions took control in the last three sets, led by Sebastian DeCubellis, who had 58 assists. Teammate Tyler Biddle helped out with 17 kills and 27 digs in the win (26-24, 16-25, 20-25, 24-26). For the Bulldogs, Henry Kenyon had 7 digs and 17 kills, and Tyler Brayman amassed 17 kills, 17 assists, 1 kill and 1 block.
