I used to be into 28mm modern warfare table-top wargaming about 20 years ago...many a grognard feared my British armor (with proper infantry support) rolling up to a hill making maximum use of defilade...but I doubt I would bring anything to the table for you at this point.

I am going to the Fall-In convention near my home. Its in gettysburg. Its my first convention and I am so excited! I like 15mm myself with great detail. It seems the bigger they are the more cartoonish they get.

Anyone going to the Cold Wars convention in two weeks?

I am starting my first collection 1/600 American Civil War Naval. My first game as GM will be Trent's Reach on the James River in 1865. Going to be fun!
