Randy Johnson will be the first Diamondback player inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame tomorrow.
Seems this has been talked about a bit over the years. I'd be utterly shocked if he goes as a Mariner. But, doesn't mlb pick? Thought I read that moons ago or not.I wonder if Randy will go in as a D-back or Mariner. I would expect it will be as a D-back.

Johnson
Smoltz
Martinez
Biggio
all make it in to the HOF
Everyone of them well deserved of it too
If that's the case he'll be a Mariner.I believe MLB looks at years of service to a team...In the event a player has equal time with multiple teams, they work to accommodate the player...I think this was a factor with Andre Dawson a few years back, because he played the same amount of time with the Cubs and Expos.

If it truely is based on duration with a team it's 10-8 Mariners. Why do you say that?
He lives in Arizona. Dbacks have him as one of their legends. He works for the Dbacks. His greatest seasons were with the Dbacks

Don't get me wrong, I agree he should be in as a Dback. He built his career in SEA, but cemented his status as possibly the greatest lefty ever in AZ.
I read that there have been a few players who chose to go in with a blank cap.Maddox went in with a blank cap. I could see the same thing happening with Randy.
