A small ray of sunshine has shined down upon me.

-Jackson was a good signing because it almost solidifies our secondary with fairly young talent..

-If we sign Hodgins (I say if because it hasn't been verified yet), we have upgraded at a very key position if we are looking to be a power running team.

-Now, if we can sign Vonnie Holliday, we would be in a very good position heading into the draft. Holliday can be an every down defensive end and despite what some people say, he is better than Okeafer hands down AND fills the need on our d-line better than Colvin, because Colvin is a linebacker and Holliday is an end.

-If we were to sign Holliday or Okeafer even, this puts us in a very good position for the draft because it allows us to have options. We could take Suggs, but we wouldn't HAVE TO. Newman would make our secondary excellent, but we wouldn't HAVE TO have him. Leftwich would help, but with McCown (who I am unsure of) we wouldn't HAVE TO take him. The only problem with staying at the sixth spot is that we might be backed into taking Andre Johnson who might eventually be good, but wouldn't have an immense impact this year due to his lack of pollish in his route running.

Things are SLOWLY looking up.

I say move down with the Jets. They get Johnson or possibly Rogers. We can take one of the DT(Robertson,Sullivan,or Williams) and Boller or Simms with the second 1st rounder. In the second round we take Faine if hes there or a WR(Gabriel,Johnson, or even Calico-we alll know what Jerry can do)
In a few years we might have one of the best WR stables in the NFL.JMO

I forgot lets sign Darling as well. He would be good in the locker room,on special teams, and depth.
