IF the the Cardinals had made it in and got to Atlanta to play this game, I don't think they would have faired much/any better then Seattle. Atlanta looks like they've turned a corner here today. Operating on all cylinders.

Key for Seattle in this game was getting up early, but it didn't matter ONE BIT!

What A difference a good center makes. Why didn't The Cardinals get Alex Mack?

And Seattle gave up Unger in the Graham trade. Not getting the use of him Peyton and Brees did.

Cardinals and Seattle have some of the same OL issues that repeatedly got exposed.

The Cardinals had injury problems on the OL. the seahawks have a terrible OL on purpose. Not the same thing.

Yeah Im pretty sure Mack isn't the difference wasn't he on a sorry Cleveland team for years.

I would love to have him but he's hardly the difference

Mack would have made a huge difference for the Cards. There simply was not enough money to get him. The same is true of Zeitler this year. He's an outstanding guard but money will likely prevent him from being considered by the Cards.

There could have been money to sign Alex Mack if SK worked out a solution for CC's $15.4M cap hit. The lack of action on that really hamstrung the team, imo.

It takes two Mitch. We have no idea what the Cards FO tried to do with CC. They could have came to him with multiple offers but was declined for all we know.

Yes. It didn't help that CC took his time to switch agents all the way through free agency. It seems like CC had it all planned this way.

I dunno about that

Doing something wouldn't have driven it down to near $0 -- and even if they had, and signed Mack -- it likely would have meant either no Chandler Jones, or, no Mathieu extension.

Because the CW is that you shouldn't draft interior O-linemen in the 1st round.

It's why some of us believe rules exist to be broken.

How do you know that Keim didn't try? Takes two to tango, and you can't have any cap flexibility on a one-year deal without extending it.

Centers get drafted in the first round. Mack for one. M. Pouncey is another. Just last year the Colts took Ryan Kelley.

Yeah, we've had our injury probs partially because of an aging OL as well. It may be a problem moving ahead. Iupati plays with pain but he's been limited in his production last year and this. Haven't gotten very good production out of RG and RT since Massey left. C play was down this season too. We have two b/u's there right now.

Veldheer and Humphries are young and they got hurt its not all age. I think Boehm and Watford played well I think we got a lot of young talent on our line

This year's centre graded out better than last year's.

Alex Mack singlehandedly changed the team from missing the playoffs to to a legit playoff contender. Matt Ryan was about to get runout of town last season.

A quality center changes the dynamics of the whole line, offense, team.

I think Centers are undervalued by many but the above post is going over board IMO. Heck, Sendlein was our SB center and our starter during our best regular season record.

Omg seriously just stop. No the fact that they now have a legit defense might have something to Do with it. I would say Vic Beasley coming into his own and getting 15+ sacks this year was pretty important

Mack was my number 1 target is free agency last year.

Who's to say Keim didn't make a play for Mack? I think Mack signed rather quickly with Atlanta and a big reason was his OC in Cleveland the previous year, Kyle Shanahan, was named the Falcons OC.
