Yea sometimes i almost hope the Cards are bad so Whiz gets fired and Horton gets pro oted. I like the way things are now but if i had to lose one i think Whiz is more replaceable then Horton

Being a HC and being a DC are two totally different things to me and right now for sure he is one hell of a DC, instead I say we give a huge raise to Horton...like now

This is just my kool-aid driven optimistic opinion:

Horton is very much the real deal at DC. He's a good dude in general, very good with people (players and fans alike). COULD he be a HC in the next year or 2? ABSOLUTELY. What I really hope to see is a promotion inside the Cardinals organization. DC and assistant HC along with a nice bump in pay. I don't think anybody doubts his ability, if he wants more control and more cash (which he deserves), I hope we can accommodate him here. I think this organization has done a great job in bringing in guys that have good character along with talent (FO, coaching staff, players). I hope he shows the trust and loyalty to his players, fellow coaches and fans that they have shown him and sticks around to bring the first Lombardi trophy to AZ

Will horton be a head coach soon? After seeing his gameplan vs brady i thinks he will be the DC now more than two years tops.

Was thinking about it at the end of the first quarter, I hope he stays here for a while first. Not every team will have our talent, he is in a geat position. Fire or demote Grimm and make him assistant head coach.

The anti whiz crap is rediculous. Amazing how many people say stuff like this. Just because Horton is a fantastic DC with a fantastic set of players it doesnt mean he can better run an entire organization. Whiz is a great coach.

1st part: yup, that's what I said, and hope

2nd part: 100% agreed. I remember roughly a year ago when Whiz caught all sorts of crap here for hiring Horton to begin with... ironic

Two years from now? Maybe. I think that's a helluva lot more likely than him getting a HC job next season.

Yes, he'll be a name people throw out there. He may even get an interview (or two because of the Rooney rule). But Two years ago he was a position coach. It's not often that guys go from position coach to head coach in four years. I guess it's possible, I just don't see it.

I don't believe that either HC's in Pitt and Baltimore were ever coordinators.

If this D keeps playing like it has for the last 11 games, he's as good as gone in 2013 guaranteed.
