Almost nine months after injuring his left hand sliding headfirst into third base in Atlanta, Kris Bryant still feels it whenever he tries to crack his knuckles — the sensitive area near the base of his pinkie and ring fingers. “It’s like, ‘Oh, I slid into a third baseman’s foot last year. That’s why I can’t do that,’ ” he said.
