I don't think I would even know that we had a MLS team, since I would file it under hockey as something I would pass on.

I dunno - the cost of running the air-conditioner might outweigh the gate receipts :p

Looks like it would work from a geographic stand-point:

http://www.mlsnet.com/teams/

Is the league in an expansion mode? Where would they add a team in the east to balance off a new team in the west? Isn't the MPF a little big? - It seems like teams are treding to the smaller, soccer specific facilities (ie the new Dallas Burn facility in Frisco).

What ever happened to David Dir?

Isn't watching Bill Gramatica bad enough, let alone a whole team of Gramatica's

Isn't the soccer field wider? So then wouldn't he be more likely to keep the ball inbounds?

Hey any sport that proffesses to be football, but doesn't have shoulder pads and 300 lbers. sucks imo.

I get it, but I don't like it. Any game where the score is 2-1 is boring imo.

He did go a little bit overboard, didn't he?

I don't like soccer (or at least watching it) but I will admit that it is a very fun sport to play.

I agree section 11, I would love to see a soccer team out here. I really got hooked this last summer with the US World cup team. Those games, although they were on at 2 in the morning, were almost as exciting for me as the D-backs world series run, and I love the D-backs. I was crushed when we lost to Germany, especially on that b.s. non-intentional hand call that took a penalty shot away. Anyone who can watch a Manchester United or AC Milan game on Foxsports world, and not get excited, must not have a pulse. High quality soccer is a pleasure to watch, and if the MLS can keep the homegrown talent, it will be a fine product. Flame away everybody!!!
