Thinking back if warner was not playing at the start of the season we should have beat the rams twice, we are one up on SF and one down on seattle, if we happen to win out we easily had swept our conference besides seattle. I heard on the game a good stat of how we lost i think it was stl, kc and the bears for a total of like 5 points. The chicago loss put us in a funk that we werent in, we were barely losing due to mistakes and went to just falling apart completley. Now things are looking back on track to actually get some wins this season.

Ive been very adament about the coaching change but if we can muster up 3-4 more wins maybe green really should come back, with lienart entering his sophmore year, all of our superstars coming back and more to come maybe we win all of those close games and dont get a heartbreaker to put us in a funk. This division is not that hard to win and if we come into 2007 wit a winning mentality things could be alot different.

I also feel we may be ready to forge ahead with our permanent line, LG and C im not sure if we couldnt upgrade but i feel wells, big and lutui are really holding down the fort as of late.

Edge needs to stand up more he goes down way too easy sometimes.

I posted this to another thread, but meant it to be a new topic.

The Cardinals are playing better these last 3 games. This season is, and will be, disappointing overall. But, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. And that light is QB M Leinart. The team seems to believe in him. And, as they continue to play well, they are starting to believe in themselves. The Won - Loss record will be disappointing. But, the season can still be something of a success. We will have gotten the rookie out of M Leinart. If we can win 2 more games and go 4 -4 the second half, what do we do with HC Denny?

They do this almost every year, play well at the END of the season when it doesn't count, then get our hopes up all off season.
I'd be way more excited if this were the 3rd or 4th game not game 12.
That being said, I'm excited about Matt as long as we get someone in here to coach him. This team is bad...badly coached. And badly managed. That has to change before we get anywhere near great

I would like to see DG stay for one more season. We do need a real OC. Fassel is my choice. After next year I would like DG to step down as HC and take another job with the organization. Then Fassel can be the HC. DG has improved the talent level on the team and his drafts have been solid. We have seen decent draft picks for a number of years.

I'm of the opinion that Green should go at the end of this year and I hope Carroll comes over to take charge. I like what Kubiac has done with this team and I hope he would stay. His play calling the last three weeks has been on target and with more moxey.

ill pass on jim fassel, mike kruczeks offence was fine today and has come out of its 2 game hole when it first started.

unless there is one hell of a coach to hire we keep green, lets not fire him for the sake of firing him, if the next guy isnt better why do it.

Dennis Green still needs to go. His coaching has hurt this team badly (although thankfully his player evaluation has made it so that this team has plenty of talent for the next coach who takes over).

Even if we win out, post 35+ points average a game and we DO win the West at 7-9, I'd still have a hard time keeping DG........of course, I'm not GM..........

We're not firing him for the sake of firing him, we'd be firing him because he deserves it.

His poor clock management, lack of discipline, lack of a clear game plan, and poor decisions (including which players to play) has cost this team quite a few games. He's out of here and he deserves to be.

That sure was on display today, over 100 yards in penalties! If the Rams weren't even more undisciplined we'd have probably blown this game.

IMO Green can do nothing to save his job.

the only way green saves his job is that the he takes the cardinals to the superbowl this season. that just doesn't look like that is going to happen

Green has been quoted as saying the only way he comes back next year is if he gets an extension. Is there anyone here who will give him an extension no matter how we finish? Most on this board think he has been a terrible coach including me. Did he suddenly see the light and become worthy of a new contract and extension. I do not think so! I think there has been to much said, to much water over the bridge, to go back now. DG should be gone. What could be worse than have DG come back and have another losing season?

and of course we do not have a real GM. Michael Bidwill is the closest thing we have to a GM and he takes his marching orders from Bill Sr.

I found it interesting to see Bill Sr down on the field in St Louis near the end of the game. With all his old friends up in the suite and to have the team win in St Louis must have been special for him. I guess he could use a special day.

I agree however out of all the names mentioned i would only like to see carroll or mooch take over, everyone else is no better than green.

Big will NOT be resigned this year...nor should we resign him. "Big" is short for "Big ****". So big in fact, the gravitational pull is so large that it actually sucks the money from Bill Bidwill's pocket, which eventually goes where all big terds go...directly down the toilet. Step into my office. "Why's that?" Because you're F'in fired!!

Find me a better LT for this team and ill believe that

What? You mean on our current roster? For what we have paid this guy over the years I would take just about any starting LT in the league that is at the same pay level. His gamely false start (or two) is reason enough to not resign him...he is obviously too stupid to be coached. Besides, he is not an LT, in the NFL he should be a LG.

Still not worth the money commanded to resign a former #2 overall. Cut his salary by 25%, move him to LG, then he is worth resigning.

Oh, by the way, "Big ****" is not our best O-lineman. Our best O-lineman is Lutui. It's just too bad it took DG and company so long to realize it.
