How come Barbosa is getting NO press nationally?

He has had some really good games for a rookie point guard after Marbury left town. Last game he had ANOTHER good game, and the national media did not notice, AGAIN. This guy has been a REAL find for us. He is quietly filling in quality minutes for a team that is supposed to be devastated at point guard after Marbury's departure!

Nationally televised games are important in getting the word out. Box scores don't tell the whole story such as how quickly Barbosa gets the offense going or pushes the ball on the break. T.J. Ford may get the rep for being a quick PG, but Barbosa can hardly be far behind and is a much better shooter.

In the nba.com poll "Which rookie do you think will be the biggest surprise in the second half of the season?" He has 48% of the votes. Next highest is Other and Korver each at 16%. Must be a bunch of Bucks, Bulls, Blazers, Sac, Por and GS fans voting

About Leandrinho, he is playing great and soon everyone will acknowledge it. If it makes you happy, he gets a lot of press here in Brazil, but all they say is like "Leandrinho plays great, but Suns lose." (this was before the 4 game winning streak.)

I hope he makes the Rookie Challenge game, he deserves it.
