I'm pretty confident.

But mostly I just know now that if we lose it won't be due to a lack of coaching or effort.

We're pretty depleted, so a loss won't surprise me. But I'm calm as opposed to years past. We're so toast as far as injuries that I just feel like any wins now are icing on the cake.

I know that there has been lots of injuries , but last I checked Bruce Arians is not among them . I believe that BA's relationship with these players ( including Next Men Up ) is why this team stands 15 and 3 over the last 18 games . When I look at the big picture , BA going back to his Stand-In HC at Indy days , has done nothing but show himself to be A Leader Of Men . I have witnessed over the decades the odd shaped ball bounce funny ways and tilt a game to one team over another (thats why I didn't go 100) , my confidence is high that BA and his staff have a good game plan and the players prepared to execute said plan .

Why is every team we paly is "the bomb"? Three weeks ago Dallas was the talk of the town...we beat them. Two weeks ago The Eagles were the talk of the town...we beat them.

This week suddenly the Lions are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Guess what? They haven't played us..the are entering our nest...and have squeeked out a few wins against inferior teams.

I'm not saying the Lions are a slouch team. It will be a tough game. But..........Bring em on!

I'm not a technical fan, but a philosophical one. Before any game, I'm always 100% sure the Cards will win. Over the years, my average hasn't been very good, but this year I feel like a genius.

On another note: I'm that guy that would try to pick all Cardinals for his fantasy team so my system is not a good one for sports betting.

My brain sort of froze from the shock of hearing such a question. No time ever had such a question entered my mind regarding an opponent. I not only couldn't believe he would ask that question, but found it startling that a teammate would ever have a doubt like that before a game.

I guess I had never gone into any game not only not believing that we were going to win, but not knowing we would find a way to win. I didn't even think his question deserved an answer, but I did answer him, "Of course.", probably out of polite shock.
