Marcus Robinson, Frank Sanders, JJ Stokes, Jason McAddley, Gilmore and Kasper. It is all very possible for Graves to arrange and if Robinson isn't an option then how about Crowell or Muhammed in his place? There is a possibility this team could field a very good group of WRs with Freddie Jones for Blake to do some damage.

GO TROOPS!!! go cardinals!

No thank you on Stokes, but I like bringing in Robinson and retaining Sanders. Stokes is not a very good player, and has never even approached what Sanders has done.

Except for Stokes, then I agree. Stokes seems to be the CLASSIC underachiever. I mean he plays in an offense ideally suited for lots of catches and lots of YAC and he has been a major disappointment IMO. The Cards cannot go after an underachiever type in FA and expect to turn him around. They need guys who are good producers at their position (they don't have to be great although that would be nice).

I am very high on Robinson. He will finally be all the way back from injuries and I believe will have a Chicago sized chip on his shoulder to prove he is still the WR he was before he got hurt...which he was producing just like Boston.

Take a look at Crowell and you see a guy who has started only 32 games in 5 years...mostly due to injuries. I have little faith he can be the 16 game go-to guy.

I think Jerry Sullivan may be able to help Stokes a great deal. Srokes is an underachiever as you stated. What he needs is motivation, someone to light a fire under his ass. He could develope into a good WR here.

Sullivan will only be giving a small amount of his energy...not enough to totally rework a guy and help him improve...to the WRs. Please don't convince yourself Sullivan is going to take on WR projects and do what he has done previously. He will not have the time nor the energy. The thing you are hoping for is can Tolbert help improve Stokes.

Not to pick on you md but why is it many of you think that Sully is going to have the time to work with the WRs especially now with the duties of OC?

If he is spending to much time with the WRs now I would be a little worried. Thats why they hired a new WRS coach!

All I want is Marcus Robinson, PLZ...

With him as #1, I would feel ok with McAaddley and the gang playing behind him...

I would take Sanders if he came at a low price...

Shane, I know you are not picking on me. It's a very good question. The way I see it, Sully will still have a lot of pull with the recievers. Afterall, they have to run what routes Sully tells them and you bet he's going to be working with them on how to run his routes. Also, I find it hard to believe that a guy who coached WR's for so many years and was so good at it won't continue to help with the WR's somewhat. It's clear it was a passion of his and I'm sure it still is. And, I bet Sully talks to the new WR's coach and tells him a few tricks of the trade and gives him some tips on teaching techniques to use on the WR's. So while the WR's may be learning from the new WR's coach, the WR's Coach learned from Sully. Follow me? You may have lost me cause I used "WR" way to many times in that paragraph..... LOL

one of the things that is really making me nervous is the sullivan as offensive coordinator thing.. We switch offensive coordinators every year or two..and the historical play calling for the past 10 seasons or so has been awful...sullivan has a huge job ahead of him with a bunch of new faces at key positions - and to my knowledge he has not been been an offensive coordinator before.. I know...just because he has not done it before does not mean he cannot do it (and do it very well)...I am just very nervous about it. Maybe it will work - some guys like mike martz get promoted late in their careers and do an outstanding job (referring to his days as oc..not head coach) - so anything is possible..

by the way..the last time I can remember the cardinals having an overall above average offense was when boomer was our qb.. I have no stats to back it up - just seemed we moved the ball then. In 1998 it seemed to me our defense stepped up more than the offense..
