How many games do you try to watch?

I know there are fans that catch a game here or there and then those who miss long periods of time or those who watch every game, so what are you?

I watch every game, at least I try. If I missed a part of it, I will simply find it online soon after.... I guess it's a weakness of mine, since I am going through my posts to see if I missed any games or parts of games that I can't recall and go and try to find them online...

I watch every game, if I miss a part i'll go read about what happened or look at the play by play or highlights. I'm not perfect so when I miss a game i'll read the threads and how people felt about what happened so I can get a better understanding cause the highlights sometimes don't even help.

I'll watch a game if it's against a good team. Games like us vs Oklahoma City or Memphis don't hold any interest for me.

Now years ago, I would not only watch every game, I would tape most of them so I could watch them again if I wanted.

I try to watch all of them. I think I missed 1 game so far because I was out of town.

Same here, but i inevitably miss some because i am currently out of the country and where League pass is not available, so i have to make do with Boxscore and game threads from this forum.

I watch most every game. I particularly enjoy watching bench players because frequently that is where games are won or lost based on bench contributions. Particularly I like seeing bench players like Amundson, Dudley and Brown who are not high profile but give it their best.

I didn't watch a single game this year or last year, and I'm probably the MOST diehard fan in VA.

I'm pathetic, yes I know.

i used to watch as many as possible. 70 games a season the last few years, sportscenter and read box scores and stories about the games.

This year the team frustrates me and I dont make as much of an effort. about 30 games in I think I have watched 10-12

Until last year I watched every game that was broadcast and an odd one here and there in person. Last year I couldn't stand watching the team once it was clear to me where they were headed - my threshold of pain is probably not where it once was because there were other years I was just as ticked off at what the coach was doing or not doing. I was so furious at Ainge the year we had Dice but I still watched - and suffered. Frank Johnson made me ill but I didn't expect him to do anything right, so that wasn't so bad in a strange way. With Skiles there was always the chance that that throbbing vein in his forehead would burst...

This year I haven't watched four of the games - yet. I have them recorded so I will likely watch them sometime. Probably over all-star week, when nothing of interest happens anyway.

I had quite high hopes for Porter but he's so weak on his Xs and Os, that its somewhat painful to watch at times. At least he's not governed by some doctrine he refuses to question and he doesn't make a spectacle of himself on the sidelines - thank God for small favors. The group of guys we have probably don't need the very best of coaches to come close to their potential though I'm fearful for the playoffs when the importance of adjustments leaps to the forefront. Pops and PJ will eat him for lunch - if he gets the team that far.

In a van...down by the river.
I try to watch them all but my job gets in the way more often than not.

Yeah ,welcome to the last couple years here. I agree that Porter is in for some ugly coronation come playoff time BUT at least he's got a better idea(and roster) in terms of how to approach the post-season....not to mention a GM who will back him up.

HDDVR + League Pass = win

I have this.

I saw every game last season.

I technically haven't missed a minute this season either. I say technically because when watching the game on the DVR, if the Suns are losing ugly, I sometimes hit the fast forward button. I still see the game, but they lose a lot more quickly and that eases the pain. I think I did it twice so far.

I envy those who have them on the tv and can easily access every game. You know how hard it is to track down a game online after it has been played? I have missed a few minutes here and there and before I go back to school, hopefully I will be completely caught up but I know I won't. Some game aren't online. Like I saw the last Nets game, but missed a few seconds during the live stream, so I downloaded it and watched it, but it didn't have the last 3 minutes, which I saw live, but still...

edit: And I just now completely realized I just about bored everyone too death with that long, drawn out post of mine...sorry

I don't mind, Andrew - I probably bored more people than you did, anyway.

Its not all gravy having TIVO - national broadcasts schedule the games for 2.5 hours but its rare as the devil that they finish within the scheduled time so we have to go find the dang game in the listings and record the following program as well. Even with the local stations you will miss some if the game goes into overtime... woe are we...

Yeah, not hard at all. Every Suns game is put online, even the terrible ones. You just don't know how to use the internet.

I'll second (or third) that!

I watch pretty much every game, however rarely watch them live. I DVR all of the games and blow through all of the commercials and game stoppages. I can usually watch the entire game in about 1½ hours. I just don't have 2½ - 3 hours a night to watch them live.

The only game I missed this year was the loss at home to New Jersey because I had the score spoiled while I was out. I didn't feel like wasting my time watching that one when I knew the outcome.

The neat thing about recording every game is that whenever there is a terrific "classic" game, I can easily archive the game onto a DVD to save. Of course the Suns haven't had one of those games in a while. I think the last games I saved were the 2OT games at New Jersey and Dallas a couple years back.

I try to watch everytime I have a chance. I only like watching live games, rather read about the game than DVR it
