Yep! I manage a small staff and just do paper work and write programs all day and do password resets. if I get called into a problem, the $hit hit the fan and nobody is going anywhere until its fixed.

I never log off so it's a trick question. I have 2 copies of explorer running all the time, one here, one wherever else.

I tend to post in flurries but i said 10-15 hours a week. note, I'm often working while I'm posting. This morning I made 3-4 posts while on a 8am conference call at my desk, I type fast and I'm pretty good at talking about one thing while typing about another.

I think its a skill you acquire after years of watching sports on tv while pretending to hear what your girlfriend is talking about!

I sneak on to read at work during days were big news is possible but only post at home.

My work fires people for sending nonbusiness interoffice emails, I ain't pushing my luck.

I'm a senior PC tech, so I check out the website, to ensure the PC's are connecting to the internet properly... :)

That logs me at about 15 hours a week, at work.

In fact, I'd say in any given day, I only do about 15 minutes of real work, and spend the rest of the day looking busy so I don't get hassled. ( By the way, if you are in the IS field, it is a must to see the movie Office Space. - Unfortunately, it is my life. I often catch myself wanting to say the phrase "Go away Lumberg.. I'm busy" :) )
