Is Pau Gasol more valuable right now on the market than Amare Stoudemire? Until the game against Spain, was Marbury at a new low? Has Marion's value increased? What about guys like Vujanic? Has it effected them? It's obvious how different the game is played internationally versus the NBA, but watching players get beat up over an entire summer must make it hard to look at them the same way you did last spring. Anyway, I was just curious, wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this.

Well watching the Spain game, I wouldn't say Gasol's trade value increased - unless you consider driving and losing ball every single time and getting call. He just swings his arms, drops ball, screams, and 2 free throws - he did put on some good moves, he dunks around hoop but nothing NBA hasn't already seen... I might be uneducated, listen to all kinds of music (including hip hop), enjoy athleticism but I don't find the international game all that exciting.

There are international players I enjoy watching but I'd prefer to see dunks, shot-blocking, steals, defense, athleticism, highlight reels, post-up moves, penetration, fade-aways, cross-overs, floaters, and1's, etc.
