That position is certainly a weakness. My guess is that he didn't think it would be prductive to come in say only Davis is a servicable o-lineman. That is, sadly, close to the truth.

He has to play part politician. Some of the guys who didn't work as starters will still be back next year, if he comes right out and says they "sucked" or whatever it is you're looking for than it could make a messy situation (the state of Card's O line) even messier. No point in doing that.

Right Guard? RIGHT Guard? I think the LG position is the one that needs mending the most. Brown did okay for a rookie....he at least holds some promise. Our LG position was gawd awful, IMO.

Maybe he can actually teach the O-Line positions unlike the other OL coaches we've had in here before.
